Become a Part of the NIKE, Inc. Team

NIKE is a technology company. We invest and develop advances in technology and employ the most creative people in the world, and then give them the support to constantly innovate, iterate and serve consumers more directly and personally. Our teams are innovative, diverse, multidisciplinary and collaborative, taking technology into the future and bringing the world with it.

Nike does more than outfit the world's best athletes. We are a place to explore potential, obliterate boundaries, and push out the edges of what can be. We're looking for people who can grow, think, dream and create. We thrive in a culture that embraces diversity and rewards imagination. We seek achievers, leaders and visionaries. At Nike, it's about bringing what you have to a challenging and constantly evolving game.

If you're ready to innovate and lead, join Nike's Technology organization. We bring together technology and process expertise to deliver one-stop solutions that enable Nike, Inc.'s products and services. We are responsible for creating, developing and deploying seamless, tailored and inherently social experiences to its consumers. Working with our organization will be rewarding, challenging, and most definitely not be just another job.

Are you a leader who is passionate about key technology infrastructure capabilities and strategic supply chain innovation? As the Senior Director, Cloud Business Office you will be responsible for the financial and capacity planning for some of the most critical technologies in Nike's global infrastructure. As our global infrastructure and use of public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud) have expanded, it is critical we have a centralized capability to track and optimize spend, both in public clouds and across our entire infrastructure portfolio. Nike is going through a big technology transformation to more cloud-based services and we need people who can lead both the technical and cultural changes that represents. Specifically on this team, we have people with a strong finance background, some junior staff eager to learn about both finance and cloud/infrastructure technology and some very experienced staff with a deep knowledge of Nike's infrastructure. This role will bring those people together to form a single, central team that report on the utilization of our investments, provide recommendations on how to optimize our cloud & infrastructure spend, partner with different groups to bring those recommendations to life, and forecast our future spend in line with our budget targets. Critical to success is your ability to establish and publish monthly reports on utilization of cloud spend by business unit, meet regularly with senior leaders responsible for those areas, and partner with them to drive recommendations to optimize our spend and utilization. You will stay on top of industry trends, as well as corporate policies and initiatives to maximize Nike's investment while enabling strategic goals.

To make it clear, we're not looking for just anyone. We're looking for someone special, someone who had these experiences and clearly demonstrated these skills:

• Bachelors' degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; 15 years additional relevant professional experience accepted in lieu of a degree
• 20 years of experience in IT, business or a related field with at least 15 years of directly relevant work experience
• Leading teams comprised of both financial and technical experts, with a proven ability to tie the two skills together and drive technical solutions that optimize spend in both public cloud and on-prem infrastructure
• Expertise with managing and developing spend reports on public clouds (AWS and/or Azure are a must, GCP and AliCloud 'nice to have') and using those reports to identify optimization opportunities (RI purchases, instance right-sizing)
• Experience with public cloud management tools, specifically Cloudability and/or CloudHealth
• Experience leading an organization through a technical and cultural transformation to cloud-based technologies, including training and career transition
• Managing vendor relationships to align support model and technology roadmaps with requirements
• Influencing multiple organizational levels and driving ideas from the white board to production
• Track record of managing large budgets (>$200m), both providing accurate forecasts and driving cost savings by identifying opportunities and partnering with other teams to bring those opportunities to life
• Delivering tactical activities while maintaining alignment with big picture
• Team leadership and building positive customer relationships
