The Senior Director of Portfolio and Transition Management is responsible for coordination and oversight across the portfolio of Demand Supply Management (DSM) programs, initiatives and transition management activities in service of achieving strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of short- and long-term programs within the DSM portfolio. Oversees world-wide, end-to-end project management across DSM initiatives.
  • Develops decision frameworks to inform resource allocation, program evaluation and portfolio shifts; owns the messaging and content preparation for executive forums and workshops.
  • Evaluates new opportunities against the current portfolio and comparatively to each other, taking into account the organization's project execution capacity.
  • • Establish project management standards, guidelines, and approaches to ensure consistency of methods and communicating across DSM
  • Provide change and business transformation leadership and general direction for the transition management team, motivating major business strategies and prioritizing change work across team members
  • Guides change/transition management efforts to enable transition efforts; provides organizational impact assessments; guides stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, communication planning, training, and general oversight of transition management efforts
  • Develops and defines adoption metrics (qualitative and quantitative) and measurement strategies in order to monitor change progress
  • Presents strategies and findings to stakeholders, using excellent verbal and written communication skills


In this role, you will leverage your portfolio and change management experience to collaborate with leaders across DSM as well as partner functions impacted by DSM changes, to develop program and change plans that emphasize collective readiness and effective, coordinated activation. You will establish standards for program management and execution, create mechanisms to monitor the planning, execution and performance of programs, enable collective DSM LT decision making across the portfolio, and set the direction for transition management across the portfolio so that strategic growth priorities and advantages are met.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or related field required
  • 7 to 10 years of program and change management experience in a corporate environment, focused on large-scale transformational change
  • Project Management experience in developing and executing project workbacks, timelines and budgets
  • Familiarity with the Agile development approach
  • Proven ability to communicate plans across a complex matrix on a corporate, regional and functional basis
  • Experience initiating and driving the ideation process contributing meaningful, innovative strategies to the business
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining keen attention to detail
  • Ability to comprehend business needs, synthesize technical and specialized knowledge and translate them into a cohesive strategy
  • Tolerance for ambiguity, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to work well with a large variety of personalities at all levels of business
