As a key player of the Converse Global Direct Analytics Team, you will drive the next phase of our evolution in the level of sophistication around customer analytics. You will partner closely with regional digital teams, marketing, and technology to build and deepen a holistic view of Converse's consumers through data and analytics and apply those insights to inform the development of distinct experiences and communication strategies to deepen relationships with our consumers.

We are looking for an innovative and experienced authority in the strategy, translation and application of consumer analytics to join our team. You'll be tasked with identifying opportunities to use consumer knowledge to influence decision-making and to translate analytics and insights into action for our Converse Direct Marketing and Site Merchandising teams.

You are a team player and have experience in developing creative and effective ways of applying, integrating, synthesizing and sharing consumer knowledge, and the vision and leadership skills to partner with key business stakeholders to translate these insights into action.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision and roadmap for consumer analytics and empower stakeholder teams to apply consumer analytics through training and identifying opportunities for sharing consumer insights
  • Create consumer measurement frameworks and customer-centric reporting tools
  • Serve as business product owner, working with leaders across the Converse Digital team to define requirements and priorities for digital customer analytics capabilities
  • Support regional digital marketing teams in driving customer segmentation, leveraging advanced analytics applied to the digital data environment
  • Assist marketing team in setting up and executing campaigns and applying best practices for measuring results and incrementality
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate ad-hoc business questions and propose analytical solutions that provide actionable insights on digital customer behavior
  • Ensure consistency and reliability in data, reporting tools, and interpretation through data validation and business user training


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Decision Science, Applied Math, Economics, Behavioral Science or other quantitative discipline. Advanced degree in Data Science or Analytics is strongly preferred
  • 5+ years working in applied data or quantitative digital research setting with a track record of delivering insights and business impact
  • A background in the production of consumer data, testing, or customer research in ecommerce, retail, or digital products for targeted communications and consumer journeys
  • Experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as marketing mix, predictive modeling, multivariate regression analysis and ROI measurement
  • Experience solving complex analytical problems with deep customer focus, applying advanced analytical methods as needed, including big data analysis using SQL, R, Python and other software applications.
  • Expertise using data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Experience with large datasets and relational databases
  • Experience overseeing compliance with data privacy and security policies
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of large data projects with multiple business stakeholders in a fast-moving, matrixed setting with ambiguous requirements.
  • Track record of being resourceful, identifying creative solutions and discovering new data sets/methodologies to answer business questions a plus
  • Knowledge of best practices & current trends in digital marketing communication and CRM strategy for retail, digital commerce, or mobile apps preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working successfully in cross-functional teams with varied levels of understanding of data
