The first spark of a product idea sets the NIKE, Inc. Product team into motion. The team of developers, testers, engineers, designers and managers obsess over Nike's iconic silhouettes and create groundbreaking new styles. They collaborate, ideate and refine products' construction, fit and materials. They maintain a keen understanding of consumer and market trends. They skillfully operate at the intersection of buyer needs, technical feasibility and business objectives. And they work lockstep with Merchandising, Design, Manufacturing and others to produce the final result: products that reflect the soul of sport and inspire athletes to reach new levels of performance.

The role of Product Security Sr Manager - Awareness is the primary liaison between Product Security and key Nike functions throughout the product creation process. This position leads cross-functional teams, creates and implements operational processes, identifies security gaps, and implements measures to protect the product at its most critical stages to prevent theft, loss, and leaks.

The core functions of responsibility include, but are not limited to: developing the Product Security Captains program at WHQ, project management of enterprise level projects, and analysing trends with security risks.

This position reports to the Product Security Senior Director.
Core Accountabilities:
  • Lead and drive the expansion of Product Security Awareness program by determining requirements and stakeholder readiness and delivering to key Nike, Inc. functions.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Security and Supply Chain Security leads to ensure global alignment.
  • Build and update project tracking tools to ensure alignment of global initiatives with global Product Security team and key stakeholders.
  • Identify, update, and handle list of confidential projects for Nike, Inc.
  • Develop expert-level knowledge of the design to delivery process for priority products and Innovation.
  • Manage and drive the design to delivery security support strategy to prevent theft, loss, and leaks of key innovations.
  • Provide input to improve product security policy, standards and training.
  • Partner with Investigations Analyst to ensure timely control failure identification for incident follow up.
  • Identify and drive the development and maintenance of Keep it Tight: Product Security platforms.


WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
  • B.S. or B.A. degree preferred or two years of additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • 5- 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 3 years consulting experience preferred.
  • Shown ability to play a consulting role in large scale organization transformation projects, demonstrating a range of practices within Organization Effectiveness.
  • Ability to drive Change Leadership efforts, helping stakeholders prepare for change and developing strong strategies - focused on the people and behavior side of change.
  • Validated ability to create transformational change strategies, practical approaches, activities and measures to drive and sustain behavior change.
  • Ability to work closely with senior level sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to translate and present complex issues in an easily understood manner.
  • Experience managing projects and utilizing project management skillset.
  • Demonstrated ability to research trends, identify patterns and summarize findings and insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work in a diverse team across multiple levels.
  • Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve problems quickly, efficiently, and collaboratively.
  • Previous professional experience working with sensitive or confidential information in a work environment.
  • Proficient in computer programs, including Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, Projector Mac equivalents.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and succeed in high stress, dynamic situations.
  • Ability to travel 20% (Domestic and International)
  • Problem solver: find problems that others don't see and create effective solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
