Description

For the Planning Analytics department within Marketplace analytics we are looking for a Senior Planning Analyst. In this role you support the IBP, Demand Planning and Inventory stakeholders across the Demand Supply Management organization to ensure that supply plans are tightly connected to consumer demand. You will solve complex problems through analysis and enabling scenario planning.

We're looking for strong problem solvers that have a proven track record in a Supply Chain environment. In this role you will define use cases with other functions, execute the analysis and present the findings in a compelling way. You will solve the complex problems through analysis and enabling scenario planning.

Key Accountabilities:

Support Insights Delivery and Rapid Analytics
  • Optimize demand/supply balancing based on changing signals to maximize revenue, margin and inventory.
  • Work with key partners to understand requirements and improve opportunities to drive knowledge into action.
  • Connect the dots; visualize data & knowledge to present complex information quickly & clearly.
  • Leverage reporting tools and ad hoc analysis to pull out relevant data.
  • Partner with the Advanced Analytics team to deliver predictive capabilities
  • Partner with the Reporting & Data Enablement team to enable reporting capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot data and analytics issues and perform root cause analysis to proactively resolve issues.
  • Work independently and take initiative to identify, explore and solve problems.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Develop seasonal scenario plans and sensitivity analysis to aid decision making
  • Develop seasonal scenario planning logic and tools.
  • Support the scenario planning tools and processes.
  • Drive projects to create and improve scenario planning processes and tools.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Logistics, Economics, Supply Chain or likewise
  • At least 4 years' experience in relevant business environment
  • Strong understanding of Demand and Supply Planning
  • Exposure to complexities of doing business in a large organization
  • Understanding of operational/logistics concepts
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to run business analysis process.
  • Extremely comfortable with R/Python, MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Tableau
  • Effective communicator and analytical skills
