As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a team of engineers, scrum masters, and product owners to develop and grow systems that reach millions of consumers through the Nike brand.

As part of this team, you will be involved in designing and building services in a continuous delivery model on the Nike cloud platform. This role will also partner with leads and architects to help establish a technical vision and deliver innovative services which are consistent, maintainable, and highly scalable for various Nike experiences.

The focus area will be product development with a specific focus on delivery in the apparel creation space.

Responsibilities
•3-5+ years of hands-on frontend engineering experience
•Excellent demonstrated experience using current web technologies (NodeJS, React, Angular, Electron, VueJS, Redux, Vuex, etc.)
•Develop code using TDD methodology and frameworks such as Jest, Mockito, etc.
•Proficient with source control tools (GIT) and ability to review code, provide feedback on pull requests
•Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
•Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and consuming micro-service based APIs
•Experience with CI/CD using application development and deployment tools (Jenkins, Serverless, CloudFormation).
•Proficient in performing technical code reviews and pair programming
•Deliver software in a Scrum development process
•Creation of responsive and reusable UI components
•Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge with the team so everyone can grow and the team can perform at its highest level.
•Willing to learn new technologies and processes as needed to accomplish great things.
•Profile and performance tune your work to ensure we deliver the best web experience to designers across the globe (including regions with intermittent and low bandwidth)

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another relevant field
•Relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Knowledgeable with version control systems (Git) and issue tracking tools (JIRA)
•Experience with CD/CI and related tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)
•A track record of solving problems and getting things done in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
•Product development experience is a nice bonus
