Description

This position will report to the Global Director of Software Asset Management and is responsible for identifying and prioritizing functional business requirements and identifying solutions for Nike's most immediate needs.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Triangulate raw deployment metadata into defendable effective license positions.
  • Identify and provide software counter data to appropriate ITAM tooling stakeholders.
  • Normalize financial and contractual data to guide the IT asset throughout its lifecycle in a central repository.
  • Ensure Software Product Libraries are up to date with product category and subcategories.
  • Determine product need, usage, support issues and planned future roadmap.
  • Establish software reference library to track software end of life dates.
  • Consolidate user details among disparate systems (e.g. Last Name/First Name, First Last, User ID, Service Accounts, etc.) to a single record using smart algorithms.
  • Serve as a point of contact for strategic software publishers.
  • Provide visibility into license quantities and usage from an internal audit capacity.
  • Document and report shortfalls or gaps in coverage.
  • Document and report action plans to remediate shortfalls or gaps.
  • Develop and maintain scorecards for specific publishers/manufacturers.
  • Work with business and IT stakeholders to resolve asset administration governance processes for new technologies.
  • Provide software license capacity planning using extensive analytics.
  • Approve or deny software requests based on availability and/or products with similar functionality.

Qualifications
  • Typically has 3-5 years of business experience in IT Asset Management. Additional experience in statistics, finance or related experience is ideal.
  • Functional understanding of software license metrics (e.g. Per Developer, Per Processor, Active/Passive, Unique User, etc.) and the metadata desired to substantiate software consumption.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance or related field. Equivalent work experience can be substituted for degree requirements.
  • Experience with end-to-end IT Asset Management process is desired
  • Working knowledge of software license management ecosystem.
