As the Sr. Technical Incident Manager - Cyber Security, you will perform a key role in the NIKE Global Technology Operations- Global Operations & Support group as part of the Technical Incident Management program. You will use your extensive experience to drive the resolution of complex cyber security issues impacting our global operations.

The successful candidate will:
  • Design, implement, and operationalize crisis management processes to manage cyber security incidents.
  • Interface with global program stakeholders to refine activation criteria and procedures.
  • Develop table-top exercises to engage in simulated crisis scenarios to evaluate program effectiveness and organizational preparedness.
  • Champion crisis management concepts and practices with management, key stakeholders, business representatives and global partners.
  • Participate in IT business continuity and disaster recovery projects as needed to support the organization.
  • Challenge our program stakeholders to think creatively to push beyond the boundaries of existing practices and mindsets.
  • Obsess over a willingness to continually learn, innovate and self-improve.
  • Challenge the status quo with a vocal, assertive, and helpful disposition. Having the ability to be a forward thinker and recommend proactive measures to limit event frequency.
  • Apply their experience/working knowledge to "think outside the box" when solving issues. (i.e., apply creative problem-solving skills)
  • Embrace the opportunity to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high profile issues or complete critical path projects.
  • Solid teamwork & collaboration skills, ability to motivate the team to be highly productive and maintain a positive work atmosphere
  • Knowledge and experience working in an ITIL service management organization.


To make it clear, we're not looking for just anyone. We're looking for someone special, someone who had these experiences and clearly demonstrated these skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 5-8 years of crisis management experience; experience in business continuity/disaster recovery a plus.
  • Proven track record of being results-orientated with a demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals.
  • Skilled to handle multiple simultaneous tasks in dynamic and high-pressure situations, prioritize them accordingly and react quickly to issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and work cross-functionally with stakeholders and team members.
  • Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to excel working in team-oriented roles and effectively collaborate with others.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in group facilitation and workshop leadership.
  • Confident self-starter with strong motivation and high levels of energy.
  • Strong process and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured / fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively.
  • Strong potential for growth and acceptance of additional responsibilities
