As our Senior Collection Lead you will be a contributing member of the GFA Licensed team.
You will create industry leading apparel collections for our top global football assets that appropriately reflect Nike's design ethos. This is a unique role new to Nike football design focused on bringing the lifestyle of football to life combining the best of Nike apparel and football culture for our modern day fan.

ACCOUNTABILITIES /
• Be the all-round authority taste maker on our top tier licensed collections. Use your apparel design experience to bring to life these lifestyle collections.
• Be the apparel design link between all functions, enjoying the challenges of coming up with creative solutions.
• Be the conduit between the Nike Sportswear category and the Global Football category to identify the right product to bring into the collections.
• Be responsible for any unique chassis design or updates for our top tier assets in game day and training.
• Creates and delivers powerful presentations of seasonal proposals. Communicates and presents concepts; produces presentation materials in conjunction with design and category teams.
• Maintains and continually expands upon expert knowledge of 3D apparel technology, sportswear apparel, fashion, color, technology, and sports-related products through travel and research.
• Uses exceptional skills to create original, innovative concepts and designs that appropriately reflect Nike GFA designs and applications.
• Maintains healthy cross-functional relationships and builds matrix relationships outside of immediate team.
• Participates in Interviews and Talent identification.
• Demonstrate proficiency using applications such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to inspire, think creatively and strategically.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Effectively uses design support.

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a relevant Design subject or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 8 years practical experience in Sporting Goods/Fashion Industry.
• Proven experience with the entire design + digital process.
• Experience managing and facilitating collaboration among diverse skill sets.
• Excellent formal and informal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional organization and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
