The Intersport Strategic Account Director is responsible for leading Intersport France from a commercial & strategic POV. This includes creating & managing the marketplace by partnering with the Intersport NO and developing a world class account team.
You will be reporting to the Sr. Commercial Director for Intersport EMEA and based in our Nike France offices, also full proficiency of the French and English language is a requirement.

Key Job Accountabilities
  • Provides benchmark Account Leadership to Intersport France.
  • Drives mutual profitability for both the Account & Nike.
  • Manages a team and sets team and individual goals that align with the functional goals.
  • Creates opportunities for people development, makes hiring decisions, drives performance management, recognition and rewards.
  • Leads the team's efforts in the development and execution of the Intersport strategic plan.
  • Works with the different functions to develop programs to achieve revenue targets and a premium brand positioning.
  • Leads the process for accurate scenario planning, forecasting, seasonal initiatives and business analysis. Ensures market and customer capacities are met.
  • Acts as the principal contact in the development and servicing of the strategic account.
  • Establishes and maintains timely, consistent, and positive external relationships with the strategic accounts' Sr. Management.


  • 8+ years of sales or similar experience.
  • 3+ years team management experience.
  • Proven track record of growing revenues by creating and driving a holistic business plan, inclusive of short- and long-term business strategies and financial targets.
  • Knowledgeable about and able to drive retail fluency and account profitability models.
  • Able to influence both cross functionally and vertically within the industry and negotiate complex retail agreements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives.
  • Strong affiliation to the world of sport, must have a passion for elevating the Sporting Goods channel via digital and B&M retail elevation.
  • Strong ability to communicate with people across all different levels, nationalities and cultures within and outside the Nike organization. Be able to present strategically to senior management teams and external partners.
