Description

As the Talent Management, Learning & Development Manager for Converse you'll be an integral part of executing globally aligned talent management practices and programs. You will also plan and deliver solutions to accelerate the Converse employee's development.

You will work with business & HR leaders to mobilize the full impact of the Talent Community of Expertise against our most critical business opportunities. In collaboration with the Director of Talent Management the TM Manager will facilitate an Integrated Talent Management Plan enabled by executive-ready frameworks & tools, ensuring the best Team & Talent decisions at moments of choice.

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a critical thought partner to the Talent Management Director in developing and activating Talent Management solutions (across Talent Planning, Talent Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Acquisition) in service of key business priorities & the Converse Team & Talent Strategy
• Manage the Converse Onboarding program and solutions - delivering and evaluating programs and online resources
• Leverage and adapt global L&D solutions and work with global L&D teams to create solutions to meet Converse learning needs
• Deliver high impact learning experiences to leaders, managers and employees at Converse
• Promote and engage Converse with the L&D portfolio, in support of enabling effective development plans for Converse
• In collaboration with the TM Director, design and prepare for Talent Sessions across Converse ensuring that actions deliver against key business priorities & align with the long-term Integrated Team & Talent Strategy
• Continuously elevate the use of integrated talent management insights to identify opportunities, inform decisions, evaluate the effectiveness of decisions & track progress against intended results.
• Provide guidance and direction for the Talent Management Coordinator through clear goals aligned with the Converse Team & Talent Strategy and ongoing coaching and development
• Maintain & effectively leverage partnerships with Converse Leaders, HRBPs, across Talent Management (Function & Pipeline Talent Partners, Talent Development, D&I, Analytics) and HR COEs.


Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related Field
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience
• Excellent reading, writing, math and communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of HR systems preferred (SAP, SumTotal, SuccessFactors)
• Experience creating high quality presentations using PowerPoint and complex reports using Excel
• Excellent organizational/planning skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• High attention to detail
• Experience handling sensitive and highly confidential material
• Confidentiality, discretion and good resolution making are preferred
• High tolerance for ambiguity
• Collaborative & open communicator
• Excellent project management skills
• Effective relationship builder
• Experienced facilitator across multiple organization levels up to senior leaders
• Adult learning and/or organizational development concepts and ethics
• Experiential learning design
• Vendor management
• Agile learner
• Reasonable thinking/ability to edit to achieve strategic priorities
• Ability to lead, guide, encourage and inspire as a team manager
