Will provide technical leadership and direction to a team building high-performing web applications in Beaverton, OR. Will work within an Agile team focused on delivering value for business partners.Will lead the design and development of a technical solution that meets the needs of the business, align with architectural and quality standards, and effectively integrate solutions delivered with adjacent and tertiary solutions/technologies. Will identify, define, direct, and perform analysis to resolve complex, first time issues. Will review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including coding, testing, debugging, and installing for a small- to mid-scale systems. Will ensure the effective performance of assigned product(s) and their integration with adjacent solutions/technologies. Will develop working knowledge of tertiary domains. Will provide leadership to the product team and will deliver a vision for work requirements for the quarter. Will design the scope of sprints within the quarter. Will provide the vision for the scope of sprints within the quarter. Will mentor and develop the capabilities of team members. Will conduct technical assessments of team members and provides feedback on performance as necessary. Will conduct technical interviews of candidates.Will ensure knowledge sharing within the team and across teams. Will conduct complete diagnoses of business problems, working with colleagues in the business to define the scope of the solution and desired outcomes. Will collaborate with the product owner and assist with managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring prompt and complete customer service.Will work within Java development. Will provide leadership to a team of developers, including providing daily guidance, setting coding standards, and reviewing code. Will design solutions in collaboration with the architecture and the development teams. Will engage in DevOps practices, including CI/CD. Will utilize knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript web development frameworks. Will work with Cloud technologies, including AWS. Will write REST APIs using NodeJS. Will develop infrastructure as code with Terraform, Cloudformation, and Swagger Doc. Will engage in performance testing and monitoring, including using Gatling, Benchmark, New Relic, and Splunk. Will engage in application and data security. Will build and maintain eCommerce sites. Will work with Analysts, Product Owners and leadership to provide technical feedback during story intake and creation.

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or engineering. Experience: 5 years of overall progressive experience in software design and development. Skills/Requirements: 5 years of experience: (1) Java development; (2) lead the design and development of technical solutions; (3) mentor and develop team members and review code; (4) REST API's; (5) diagnose business problems through coordinating business groups to determine an appropriate solution; (6) designing solutions in coordination with cross functional teams; (7) review, analyze, test, and modify programming systems for small to mid-scale systems; (8) Amazon Web Services; and (9) DevOps.
