The Nike, Inc. Communications team develops, establishes and strengthens authentic connections with diverse audiences through the lens of innovation and sport. The team creates premium and innovative brand stories, builds and enhances corporate reputation and brand equity, and engages audiences such as consumers, media, athletes, investors, non-governmental organizations and Nike's own employees. The team focuses on information, inspiration and connection to accelerate the growth of Nike, Inc. Communications employees ignite conversations, envision the possibilities, and influence and deliver new levels of creative and strategic thinking to advance the brand around the world.
Description

This role will be covering a maternity leave. The main focus is on creating holistic, fully integrated brand marketing plans for its dedicated account to drive a multi-category offence. With a significant emphasis on digital prioritization, this role requires proficiency in multi-category, multi-platform, seamless account relationship marketing. An excellent understanding of current and future retail brand concepts and innovative digital practices is required to develop industry defining account marketing brand plans.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities include:

• Be the brand lead within the Integrated Account Team providing strategic brand vision to the team driving the brand and business for Nike and the account.
• Develop consumer centric account long term and seasonal cross functional brand plans that connect with consumers and create a distinctive brand voice for the account.
• Own bringing brand vision to life across all account platforms led by digital executions to attract consumers and digital integration into retail environments to complement traditional retail story telling.
• Actively participate in CGP process to lead the account brand conversations at key moments securing buy-in and strategic alignment.
• Lead and Drive the account brand calendar with proper communication across the business and broader IRM team to ensure alignment for the marketplace and category strategies.
• Partner with Territory IRM Director on budget allocation and management to drive the account brand offense.
• Work closely with geography and territory category partners to elevate and amplify the category direction and stories at retail.
• Develop deep relationships with the account marketing and buying teams to better understand the business, create new opportunities and align on collective vision.
• Push Innovation and drive Nike's digital first mindset bringing fresh new brand ideas on how to better connect and communicate with our consumers.
• Partner with Territory and Geo NCX team on all new concept development for the account. Drive the direction and execution of all brand elements, allowing NCX team to drive overall vision and execution.
• Actively participate in territory brand and functional meetings to ensure you deliver a strong account POV while supporting overall strategies.
• Partner with key functional teams (EKIN, Visual Presentation) to bring the account vision to life across all retail platforms.
• Educate and Inspire the account and brand team to think creatively and push new boundaries for the brand and the account.

Qualifications
• Retail Knowledge: Minimum 4 years of retail or like experience to bring deep retail insights to inform the work and stay current on how retail is evolving to better serve.
• Strategic Thinking: Have a vision for the future and be able to create long-term strategic account plans to bring the vision to life
• Advanced business analytical and quantitative skills: Use relevant data to inform key decisions. Leverage the Science to inform the Art of brand story telling.
• Financial acumen: Budget, planning and financial management
• Digital capability: Industry leading digital knowledge and understanding to leverage the digital space
• Consumer Centric Mindset: Obsess and Serve the consumer Always. Dedicate time and resources to staying current with our consumer and be clear on what matters to them so Nike can deliver
• Creative thinker: Demonstrate creative thinking. Offering fresh stand-out ideas that challenge the norm.
• Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key account, and internal partners that drive deep insights and collaboration.
• Communication and presentation skills: Strong ability to effectively communicate with people across all different levels, internally and externally. Be able to present strategically to senior management teams. Ability to communicate and negotiate with outside vendors and project management firms.
• Team management: Must be tactful with strong team orientation. Ability to lead a team and develop junior team members through utilizing influencing, negotiating, coaching and supporting skills.
• Strong organization skills: Ability to prioritize and organize workload in response to often aggressive timelines. Knowledge of the market and ability to create structure into market place.
• Strong Personal Standards: We must execute flawlessly. Every day - The consumer demands it.
