As a Territory Account Planner, you'll collaborate with the East Planning and Sales team to drive a healthy and sustainable marketplace by balancing sales and inventory levels across a dynamic and varied account base. You will leverage the current tools and data, conduct your own deep dive analysis and identify business opportunities within the market. You will analyze trends to develop bookings forecasts and drive financial targets for a grouping of accounts across multiple sales directors.

Representative projects include:

  • Analyzing selling trends across the territory to identify which areas of the territory have the highest growth potential.
  • Focusing on a marketplace view of inventory management and making recommendations on RTV proposals.
  • Developing bookings plans for multiple accounts focused on trends and sales team insights to drive an accurate forecast. Understanding risks and opportunities in the business and partnering with Sales Planning Manager and Finance teams to reflect these in system.
  • Supporting the product allocation process through collaboration with sales, category, and sales planning teams to streamline and infuse insights into current process:
    • Supporting Futures Allocations, Quick Strikes, Givebacks and Additional Requests
This position requires a high-energy, self-motivated individual with strong technical and analytical skills, high detail-orientation and excellent written and verbal communication. Candidates with retail planning or business analytics experience in a retail environment preferred. The right individual will be on top of retail trends; understand the intricacies of a wholesale vs retail model and understand the opportunities that can drive the Nike brand.

Please note this position is based in the Nike NYC office.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience with an emphasis on Retail business planning, reporting and analytics required.
  • Affinity for business reporting, analysis, and working with large amounts of data required
  • Proven ability to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze and make recommendations required
  • Advanced Excel skills required and moderate Tableau experience preferred
  • Strong presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to influence decision making.
  • Strong team player with the ability to develop strong partnerships across a multi-layered organization required.
  • Specific Work Experience Project Management and problem-solving skills a must
