Communications employees ignite conversations, envision the possibilities, and influence and deliver new levels of creative and strategic thinking to advance the brand around the world.
Description

NIKE Training is one of EMEA Central's future growth opportunities. As the NIKE Training Brand Manager for Berlin Central you are part of the territory Marketing Leadership Team. Your Role is to position NIKE as an authentic Training Brand, build strong consumer connect and drive a profitable business for the Category.

As the Category Brand Lead for Training, you will develop and implement the Strategic Vision and Brand Direction, drive the seasonal integrated marketing efforts and manage the Category Brand Team for NIKE Training in EMEA Central Territory.



Key responsibilities

I. Strategic Vision & Direction

  • Lead & Drive the Category Brand Vision and Plan for NIKE Training in Berlin Central.
  • Lead the key strategic planning processes CSR & AOP for NIKE Training Marketing by working closely with the Senior Berlin Central Marketing Director and Category Consumer Director as well as the Marketing Leadership & NIKE EMEA Training Team.
  • Develop and Own the annual Concept Map for NIKE Training
  • Plan the annual DC Priorities & Category Concept Map.
  • Lead & execute the athlete, influencer, community, partner & seeding strategy for NIKE Training in Berlin Central.
  • Represent NIKE Training Marketing Team in EMEA & Global T2T meetings, market visits & product insights requests.


II. Seasonal Executions

  • Develop, implement & drive seasonal brand plans focusing on the consumer journey. Ensure seamless transition from planning to execution.
  • Lead & run the seasonal category wall sessions & creative reviews with the Senior Marketing Director, Senior Consumer City Director & EMEA Training Brand Director.
  • Set clear & measurable Priorities & Objectives to define strong consumer insights and develop effective strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • Obsess the Launch Date Calendar and drive alignment with the category team in Berlin Central & EMEA.
  • Run the Berlin Central Integrated Marketing Meeting.
  • Be part of weekly / bi-weekly category Integrated Business Alignment Meeting to ensure seamless integration between Marketing, Sales & Operations.
  • Obsess the Market Place, lead with Nike Direct and our key territory WS Partners. Proactively work with key GEO Accounts.
  • Work with EMEA on benchmark Berlin Central media plans that are integrated & fuel the consumer journey.
  • Manage the seasonal budget & ensure forecasting is done accurately.
  • Ensure timely & efficient seasonal sample ordering.
  • Celebrate seasonal success with EMEA and Central Marketing Team and share key learnings.
  • Closely monitor & share consumer, market and competitor activity.


III. Build, Develop & Lead a Winning Team

  • Manage the NIKE Training Brand Team and Lead the cross functional virtual team
  • Define clear & measurable Roles & Responsibilities for each your Team Member.
  • Ensure CFE Goal Setting & Individual Development Plan are in place and aligned.
  • Live & breath the maxims. Ensure the team understands and embodies the NIKE DNA.



Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7 years working experience in field of Marketing and/or Category Management.
  • Strong Strategic Capabilities with a focus on building Consumer Connect, aspirational brand propositioning and driving profitable business results.
  • Proven ability to conduct and/or analyse research related to consumers, industries, and competitors
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in gathering key metrics and applying insights to support decisions.
  • Proven ability to apply creative and strategic thinking to marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Capable to manage multiple projects and initiatives while driving accountability on day-to-day operations.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and provide project management support
  • Demonstrated skill in managing business stakeholders and vendor partners via clear, concise and structured communications.
  • Highly structured, problem-solving oriented and strong attention to detail.
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and passion for excellence.
  • Deep passion & knowledge for Sport & the Training Industry
