As the West Field Sports Brand Manager, you will be responsible for driving and managing the brand - as well as delivering category growth in one of Nike's most important territories, Los Angeles. You will focus on the three key categories of soccer, football and baseball. You'll provide strategic leadership and develop briefs and marketing plans for the category's seasonal brand initiatives and special projects. You'll be the voice of the Field Sports consumer and protector of the brand. You'll develop and maintain effective relationships across the matrix and work closely with a diverse cross-functional team, leading them in the planning and execution of seasonal marketing plans. You'll work closely with the Geo teams to keep them updated on current on market trends, the competition, the consumer and you'll be accountable for driving key metrics to improve and influence Nike's brand and football, baseball and soccer categories strength in Los Angeles and the West. You'll help drive the Integrated Marketing process for these three categories and lead processes that enable timely and effective execution by cross-functional business teams. You'll participate in business planning, budgeting, performance targeting and in functional discussions and initiatives across departments. You'll utilize internal partnerships and leverage external relationships that enhance the team's effectiveness. You'll be part of a fast-paced, high energy, talented team of marketers that have a passion for sport and creating substantial connections between consumers and the Nike brand.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a business related field.
• 3 years' progressively responsible marketing experience.
• 2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in Brand Marketing is preferred.
• Experience in one of Nike's key categories is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the Soccer, Baseball and Football category consumer is preferred.
• Knowledge of the local Los Angeles market and industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
• Ability to lead a cross-functional team toward a vision through effective collaboration - and to drive the development and execution of marketing plans.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
• Ability to successfully navigate and manage across a broad internal matrix organization.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with management and external resources.
• Sounds judgement and ability to provide information toward the determination of policy and strategy.
• Ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism.
• Demonstrated leadership in fostering continuous learning, empowerment, involvement and opportunities.
• Ability to establish an independent view, effectively collaborate in decision-making and work in a team environment.
• Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.
