WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The College Sports Marketing team builds and strengthens Nike’s relationships with the most influential athletes and programs in college sports. This role reports to the Director, College Sports Marketing and partners closely with Sports Marketing, Brand Marketing, Product Creation, and external athlete stakeholders to deliver premium athlete experiences and drive long-term brand impact.

They bring a deep passion for college sports, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to navigate a fast-moving environment with confidence and precision.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and energized by serving athletes at the highest level. They are skilled at balancing multiple priorities while delivering best-in-class support across athlete partnerships, brand activations, product seeding, and storytelling opportunities. They work seamlessly across teams, communicate with clarity, and build trust with athletes, representatives, and internal partners. Most importantly, they understand that exceptional athlete service creates stronger partnerships, deeper brand affinity, and greater business impact.

  • 5+ years of experience in Sports Marketing, athlete relations, partnership management, brand marketing, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Communications or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • Strong understanding of collegiate athletics and the Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) ecosystem
  • Proven experience managing athlete, influencer, or talent relationships and executing partnership activations
  • Exceptional communication, project management, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will be the day-to-day connection between Nike and its Blue Ribbon Elite athlete roster. By delivering world-class athlete service and creating meaningful athlete experiences, you'll help strengthen relationships, elevate the athlete journey, and bring Nike's Sports Marketing strategy to life.

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for Blue Ribbon Elite athletes, ensuring every athlete experience reflects the value of partnering with Nike
  • Build trusted relationships with athletes, representatives, and key stakeholders while delivering responsive, proactive support across all touchpoints
  • Partner with Brand Marketing teams to execute athlete appearances, campaigns, content opportunities, photoshoots, and consumer activations
  • Collaborate with Product Creation and Sports Marketing partners to coordinate product seeding, athlete feedback, wear-testing opportunities, and marketplace insights
  • Manage logistics and communication for athlete engagements, ensuring flawless execution and attention to detail from planning through completion
  • Capture and share athlete insights, trends, and opportunities that help inform Sports Marketing, product, and brand strategies
  • Support the Director, College Sports Marketing in advancing Blue Ribbon Elite priorities while helping identify new ways to elevate athlete service and strengthen Nike's presence across college sports
  • Travel 10-25%
