WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a Data Scientist at Nike GC Insight, Data Science and Analytics (IDSA) team, you will directly report to the Senior Data Science Manager at IDSA and be responsible for developing and maintaining predictive models, providing actionable insights to support business decisions, and researching and applying cutting edge technology. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including GC Marketing Science Team and GC Consumer and Product Insight Team to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Need to have:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages Python and SQL.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- At least 3–5-years relevant working experience
Good to have:
- Experience with big data technologies (such as Spark).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (such as AWS).
- Familiarity with data engineering and ETL processes.
- Experience in footwear/apparel industry is a plus.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
- Develop, implement, deploy and maintain predictive models.
- Analyse large, complex datasets to extract insights and identify trends.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders through visualizations and reports.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data science and machine/deep learning.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
