You’ll be working alongside a team of merchants to bring the culture, vision and spirit of streetwear and Jordan brand to life through best in class product, journeys and assortments and lineplans.

We are hiring for two roles:
- Merchant II FBAT (American Football, Baseball, Athletic Training)
- Merchant II Streetwear Footwear
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As part of the Global Jordan Merchandising team, you’ll partner closely with both Global and Geo Merchandising, Product Creation, Planning, and Marketing, and amongst other teams, to bring consumer-right assortments to life across the globe.
This role report will report into their sport Director. You’ll partner cross-functionally to connect product, consumer insights, and marketplace needs and help your team translate those into action. You’ll collaborate with teammates who value clear communication, curiosity, and shared ownership of the business.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a merchant with a passion for product and a curiosity for evolving retail and consumer trends. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the Streetwear Footwear consumer and the dynamics of the global marketplace, paired with the ability to use data and insights to inform thoughtful decisions.
Success in this role requires a growth mindset, coachability, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, along with a hunger to continue building on core merchandising fundamentals.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- 2+ years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Marketplace, Buying, or relevant experience
- Strong understanding of consumers and marketplace trend with the ability to synthesize insights into action.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to various cross-functional partners
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and competing priorities.
- Attention to detail and understanding the importance of consistency.
- Proficiency in Excel & Keynote
- Great teammate and contributor, with the curiosity and excitement to learn new thing
- High Heat/Launch or Collaborator product Merchandising experience is a plus but not a requirement
- Footwear specific Merchandising Experience is a plus but not a requirement
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will support collaborative work across Merchandising teams and cross-functional partners such as: Product Creation, Marketing, and Planning and Geography Merchandising. You will be responsible for detailed management, maintenance and communication of all seasonal tools & assortments. You’ll help gather insights & data to build consumer-centric line plans to serve the Global marketplace. You will also analyze business and consumer trends to help inform future decision making.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Creating & maintaining seasonal assortment tools.
- Partnering with Geo Merchandising teams to gather insights.
- Supporting seasonal deliverables and meetings.
- Business reporting and hindsighting
- Full or partial ownership of Launch maintenance over Icons.
