WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This is the Nike matrix: You will report into the Global Apparel Materials Team (GLAM) and support our partners within the Nike Global Sports Apparel. You will collaborate with Design, Product Management, Technical Development, Color, Sourcing & Manufacturing. You will work to ensure a modern & forward-thinking approach to material development and materials performance when in garment form.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a creative and curious Material/Trim Developer with a passion for textiles, trims, print and pattern. The candidate will use their technical materials knowledge, critical thinking, and collaborative skills to deliver modern material/trim solutions for our Global Sports Apparel product. Strong skills in textile, trims and print development as well as an understanding of the product creation process will ensure delivery of exceptional product for our athletes*!
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
- A minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience
- Technical materials/trims knowledge, including yarns, knitting, weaving, dyeing, printing and finishing techniques
- Knowledge of knits, wovens, ribs, trims + print & pattern
- Experience partnering with vendor to develop and test a material/trim from inception to production
- Experience working with performance & lifestyle materials/trims is highly desired
- Knowledge of industry material and trim trends
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will explore newness & innovation in textiles, trims and print/pattern for Global Sports Apparel (including knit & woven tops, bottoms, and outerwear). You will collaborate with our product creation team partners to deliver on the highest level of athlete* experience. You will drive seasonal material/trims development in partnership with vendors and manufacturing teams from concept to commercialization. This includes testing, tracking and creative material solutions. You will work on a commercialized materials/trims palette grounded in our key sustainability goals.

Deze recruiter blijft gedurende het hele proces je belangrijkste contactpersoon. Voor functies binnen Retail doe je een interactieve test die bestaat uit een chat en quizzen. Deze test neemt ongeveer 10-20 minuten in beslag. Ongeacht de functie willen we meer te weten komen over jou, dus schroom niet om te laten zien hoe je service van wereldklasse benadert en wat jou uniek maakt.
03 Sollicitatiegesprek
