WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will join a team of Engineers, Product Managers, Principal Engineers, and Architects responsible for delivering modern commerce, warehouse, fulfillment, and enterprise integration solutions across the Nike’s Special Assets portfolio. The team combines deep technical expertise with business knowledge across Commerce, Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Finance, and Procurement to
build scalable, enterprise-grade solutions that support Nike's critical business capabilities.
As part of this team, you will design, build, and support cloud-native services, APIs, integrations, and commerce platforms using modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools. You will partner with engineering leaders and business stakeholders to establish technical direction and deliver innovative solutions that are resilient, maintainable, secure, and highly scalable.
Our teams embrace Agile methodologies, practice DevOps, and leverage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) to rapidly deliver value while maintaining operational excellence.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with a passion for building scalable enterprise applications and solving complex business and operational challenges. You thrive in a collaborative environment and have a proven track record of delivering reliable software in cloud-based environments.
Skillset Required
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong foundation in distributed systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Strong proficiency in modern software engineering using technologies such as
JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, PHP, and related frameworks.
• Experience designing and building scalable APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and enterprise integrations using modern cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and modern cloud architecture patterns.
• Experience building, integrating, or supporting enterprise commerce, fulfillment, inventory, warehouse, or supply chain solutions.
• Proven experience designing and developing GraphQL and REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with observability, production support, operational excellence, and reliability engineering practices.
• Proficiency with modern engineering practices, including Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ability to lead technical design discussions, influence architecture decisions, and mentor other engineers.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento 2), headless commerce architectures, or other enterprise commerce platforms.
• Experience with Databricks or large-scale data platforms.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and AI-assisted software development tools.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications, APIs, and integrations supporting Nike's commerce, warehouse, fulfillment, and operational platforms.
• Build and enhance enterprise solutions that connect commerce, inventory, warehouse, finance, and order management capabilities across the Nike ecosystem.
• Lead technical design and implementation efforts, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with architectural standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that solve complex business problems.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, performance, and operational excellence through automation and engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and AI-enabled engineering practices to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Explore and implement emerging technologies, including AI/ML, that create measurable business value and improve customer and operational experiences.

02 Maak kennis met een recruiter of doe een test
Als je wordt geselecteerd voor een functie binnen Corporate, neemt een recruiter contact met je op om het sollicitatieproces te starten. Deze recruiter blijft gedurende het hele proces je belangrijkste contactpersoon. Voor functies binnen Retail doe je een interactieve test die bestaat uit een chat en quizzen. Deze test neemt ongeveer 10-20 minuten in beslag. Ongeacht de functie willen we meer te weten komen over jou, dus schroom niet om te laten zien hoe je service van wereldklasse benadert en wat jou uniek maakt.
