WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

The People Solutions Advisor joins the Advisory team at Nike ELC in Laakdal. Reporting to the Senior Supervisor People Solutions Advisory for ELC, you will collaborate with HR experts and business partners across Nike to deliver seamless, people-focused support to employees.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a service-minded HR professional who combines solid HR knowledge with clear, confident and empathetic communication. The right candidate is energized by helping teammates, finding accurate information and translating HR processes into practical answers. They can switch quickly between different topics, systems and communication channels while staying focused, accurate and calm. This person works independently within defined HR processes and employment legislation, takes ownership of cases and proactively spots opportunities to improve the employee experience. They build strong relationships with internal and external partners and are comfortable presenting practical HR information to individuals and groups in both Dutch and English.

  • You are a quick learner with genuine interest in HR
  • Strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation, employment law, HR processes, HR policies and HR systems.
  • Good understanding of compensation and benefits, basic payroll, time registration and contract administration.
  • Fluent written and spoken Dutch and English, with confident presentation skills in both languages.
  • Emotionally intelligent, service-oriented and assertive communication style.
  • Comfortable working independently, handling varied HR questions and using digital information platforms accurately.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

In this role, you will be a trusted first point of contact for Nike ELC employees. You will answer HR questions, guide employees through practical processes, connect with experts when needed and help improve the quality, consistency and accessibility of HR information.

  • You will provide practical HR information to individuals and groups through digital and non-digital channels (Phone, email, chat, Service Now platform, etc.)
  • You will research, interpret and share accurate HR information from the relevant platforms and policies.
  • You will answer first-line HR questions and connect employees with the right experts or colleagues when a topic needs deeper support.
  • You will manage supporting administration such as processing contract addenda, logging cases and archiving documentation.
  • You will identify recurring questions and challenges, signal them to the team and propose structural improvements.
  • You will support onboarding sessions by explaining practical HR topics such as payroll documents, benefits, contracts and leave.
