EMEA Brand Planning and Operations (BPO) is the operating system of Nike Marketing. We connect Global, Geo and Territory teams through planning and operational excellence, enabling world-class marketing to land efficiently and on time.

This role reports to the Director, Planning & Operations, Marketplace & Media. It plays a critical role in supporting Retail Brand Marketing across EMEA, helping bring seasonal brand strategies to life within the marketplace.

This role leads Marketplace Planning & Operations for Retail Marketing. It translates seasonal and seasonless priorities into integrated plans, guiding teams through key gates and milestones, and ensuring readiness across owned and partner retail channels.

You will partner with EMEA BPO, Sport Planning & Operations, Retail Marketing leadership, Retail Experiences, Marketing Finance, Marketplace teams, Territory partners and Global Retail Planning & Operations.

You will connect seasonal intent with marketplace execution, budgets and operational readiness, building trusted relationships that help teams navigate decisions, dependencies, risks and delivery.

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR


We are looking for an experienced program and process management professional who brings structure to a fast-moving matrix, combines rigorous planning with clear decision-making, and is motivated by simplifying ways of working so teams can focus on delivering impactful marketing work. You’ll bring business operations experience and understand how marketing and retail organizations translate strategy into execution. You are comfortable proactively identifying risks, connecting work across teams and seasons, and driving alignment through clear communication and governance. You are organized, detail-oriented and collaborative, with the ability to dive deep into operational details while communicating insights and recommendations clearly to senior leaders.


You’ll bring:


  • Experience leading program, portfolio, project or business operations experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Proven ability to run end-to-end operating rhythms, integrated plans and critical paths across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong process management skills, including workflow design and continuous improvement.
  • Confidence using data and scenarios to identify risks early and recommend action.
  • Experience supporting budget planning, forecasting, tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and concise executive communication in English.
  • Strong attention to detail, proactive problem solving and enterprise thinking.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Keynote, Smartsheet and AirTable.

 

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON


You will lead seasonal and seasonless planning and operations work that enables Retail Marketing to deliver with precision across marketplace readiness, governance, communication, budgets and execution.


You will:


  • Lead seasonal readiness across EMEA Retail Marketing, guiding teams through key planning gates, milestones and deliverables to ensure plans are launched on time and with clarity.
  • Own integrated program plans, critical paths, connecting priorities, dependencies, owners, decisions and timelines across Retail Marketing, Marketplace and Territory teams.
  • Maintain and continuously improve marketplace planning tools, templates and operating processes, simplifying ways of working and strengthening adoption across the organization.
  • Own the accuracy of key planning artefacts, ensuring teams have a trusted source of truth for execution decisions.
  • Translate complex information into clear updates, communications and leadership-ready reporting that drive alignment and action.
  • Partner with Marketing Finance to support budget excellence.
