The Retail District Director is responsible for achieving and maximizing sales and profit budget for Nike Direct Stores in assigned region. This includes aligning with the Nike Direct strategy and leading a store manager to define and execute operational process. The role is responsible for ensuring Nike Direct Store is positioned as a premium experience for consumers, and is a profitable business.

Responsibilities:  

  • Actively lead a group of retail team through Head Coaches to achieve monthly business target and KPI
  • Leverage internal and external resource in market place to drive healthy business growth in the district
  • People and talent development across different doors and cities to continue drive people capability improvement.
  • Develop retail team targets and goals for Nike Direct Stores that are aligned with the Nike Direct strategy.
  • Accountable for the financial budget including store P/L.
  • Transparent feedback front line needs and market reality in market place to help company make right decision

Requirements: 

  • Minimum Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years progressive retail experience
  • Strong leadership and big team people management skills and experiences
  • Able to understand door level operation details and support frontline to take action to respond to everchanging market
  • Thorough understanding of business result building blocks and P&L structure
  • Thorough understanding of sports industry product flow and pattern vs consumer needs
  • Good sense of loss prevention thinking and proactive thinking to protect Nike brand.
  • Role model as a leader in premium retail industry.
  • Business level written and verbal communications skills in English and Chinese required
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional environment – alignment and action
