WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As the Senior Brand Creative Curator, you will serve as the Department of Nike Archives (DNA) footwear and apparel expert and as DNA’s steward of Nike’s product history. You will help shape how Nike understands, activates, and learns from its product collection to support the Brand’s most important storytelling, innovation, and business priorities.
Working closely with the DNA Director, you will uncover stories within the collection, identify opportunities to strengthen and evolve the product archive, and connect Nike’s past to the opportunities of today or tomorrow through extensive product history knowledge. This role requires expertise, rigor, and perspective to ensure DNA is focused on the areas that create the greatest value for the Brand.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Collection Expertise
- Serve as DNA's footwear and apparel authority, continuously deepening the organization's understanding of Nike's product history, innovation journey, and collection.
- Drive the accuracy and accessibility of product data, stories, and supporting materials.
- Identify opportunities to expand, refine, and strengthen the collection based on current and future business needs.
Product Curation & Partnership
- Partner with Brand Marketing, Brand Creative, Communications, Product, Design, and Innovation teams to activate the collection in support of key product launches, sport moments, and strategic initiatives.
- Surface relevant product stories, artifacts, and insights that inspire creative work and inform decision-making.
Storytelling & Education
- Bring Nike's product history to life through presentations, tours, experiences, and storytelling engagements.
- Educate and inspire internal teams and select external audiences on the evolution of Nike products, athletes, innovation, and brand storytelling.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As DNA's footwear and apparel history expert, you will build strong partnerships across Product, Design, Innovation, Brand Marketing, Brand Creative, Communications, and Energy Marketing. You will serve as a trusted collaborator and advisor, helping teams unlock the value of Nike's history to inform and inspire future work.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years of Nike experience preferred, with a deep understanding of the brand, products (footwear and apparel), and the forces that have shaped Nike over time.
- A genuine passion for sport, culture, and the stories that connect them.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build trust, influence partners, and engage senior leaders.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, fast-moving projects while navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities.
- Skilled at bringing people together, managing competing demands, and using tools and processes to keep work moving forward.
- Confidence in ability to curate the best of the best Nike/Jordan Brand products to meet the needs of various product curation requests
