The Greater China Local Creation team creates inspiring product closer to the consumer. By deepening consumer connection and operating with speed and specificity, the team translates local sport, culture, style, and marketplace insights into product that resonates with consumers in GC.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a senior footwear product line leader to shape and grow the Nike expression of Local Creation in Greater China. You will lead a team and a multi-season product portfolio, translating local consumer and marketplace opportunities into clear strategies, line plans, and compelling product stories. You bring strong footwear judgment, people leadership, and the ability to influence across a matrixed product organization.

We are looking for a footwear product leader who combines a deep understanding of Greater China consumers with strong product intuition, commercial judgment, and a passion for sport and culture. You will help turn local consumer insights into compelling footwear concepts and assortments that strengthen the Nike Brand and serve the marketplace with speed and specificity.

As a people manager, you develop high-performing teams, create the conditions for great product creation, and build trust through transparency and inclusion. You are a product expert, strategist, and leader who consistently delivers product excellence and marketplace impact.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Develop the seasonal and multi-season product line strategy for Nike Footwear Local Creation GC, grounded in consumer, marketplace, sport, style, and cultural insights.

  • Lead line planning and product management across assigned franchises and consumer opportunities, including product architecture, pricing, lifecycle, cost and margin considerations, and launch sequencing.

  • Partner with Design and Product Development to establish briefs, make product choices, and deliver cohesive footwear collections with locally relevant storytelling.

  • Connect with Merchandising, Planning, Brand, and Marketplace partners to align the product line with business priorities and consumer journeys.

  • Lead, coach, and develop product line management talent, creating clear priorities and strong accountability across the team.

  • Monitor progress across the creation calendar, surface risks early, and drive decisions at key checkpoints.

  • Present product strategies and seasonal recommendations to senior internal audiences with clarity and influence.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will lead Nike Footwear Product Line Management work within the Local Creation GC team. You will partner closely with Footwear Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Planning, Brand, Marketplace, Finance, and global product teams, and will report into the Director of Footwear Product Line Management, Local Creation GC.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in footwear product management, merchandising, product creation, or a closely related field.

  • Experience leading people, projects, or a significant multi-season product portfolio.

  • Strong understanding of footwear construction, product creation, line planning, franchise management, and product storytelling.

  • Proven ability to translate consumer and market insights into differentiated product strategies and assortments.

  • Strong commercial judgment and experience managing cost, margin, pricing, and product lifecycle considerations.

  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners and make clear decisions in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English; Chinese language capability is strongly preferred.
