Position Summary
The Senior Manager is responsible for leading and executing visual merchandising strategies across the North and West China markets. This role drives excellence in brand presentation, product storytelling, and consumer experience across retail stores while ensuring alignment with Greater China and Global visual merchandising standards.
Working closely with Retail Operations, Merchandising, Marketing, and Store Development teams, the Senior Manager will elevate in-store brand execution and support commercial objectives through impactful visual merchandising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement regional visual merchandising strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
Drive consistent execution of visual merchandising standards across all retail stores in North & West GC.
Lead seasonal visual updates, product launches, campaign rollouts, and key commercial moments.
Ensure compelling product presentation, brand storytelling, window displays, and in-store visual communication.
Retail & Consumer Experience
Partner with Retail and Merchandising teams to optimize product placement and enhance the consumer shopping experience.
Identify opportunities to improve store productivity and drive business performance through effective visual merchandising.
Monitor market trends and consumer insights to continuously enhance visual merchandising strategies and execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Marketing, Retail Operations, Merchandising, and Store Development teams to ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives.
Support new store openings, remodels, and concept implementations across the region.
Act as the key visual merchandising partner for regional leadership teams.
Team & Resource Management
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional visual merchandising team.
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and project priorities to ensure efficient execution.
Establish clear performance standards and drive operational excellence across the function.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Business Administration, Design, Retail Management, or a related field.
Experience
10+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising within a retail or consumer brand environment.
Proven experience leading regional or multi-store visual merchandising functions.
Strong people leadership experience with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
Skills
Strong visual merchandising expertise and retail acumen.
Deep understanding of consumer behavior and retail presentation principles.
Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
Strong communication, influencing, and leadership capabilities.
