WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Sportwear Specialty / NHBD / Sport Specialty to drive the growth and evolution of our specialty marketplace. The ideal candidate combines deep consumer understanding, strong business acumen and a passion for sport and culture. This leader will identify emerging trends, build authentic connections with communities and develop strategic partnerships that elevate the Nike and Jordan brands and create sustainable growth opportunities. We are looking for a visionary leader who can translate consumer insights into marketplace strategies while fostering strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders..

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, marketplace management, retail, merchandising, brand marketing, or related commercial functions.
  • Strong understanding of sport, fashion, streetwear and consumer culture trends.
  • Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Deep knowledge of consumer insights, marketplace dynamics and specialty retail environments.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and managing ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and strategic recommendations.
  • Advanced English proficiency required.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As Senior Manager, Sportwear Specialty / NHBD / Sport Specialty, you will:

  •  Define and execute the long-term strategy for the NHBD and Sport Specialty channels, aligned with Nike's marketplace and consumer offense.
  • Develop a deep understanding of consumer behaviors, cultural movements, marketplace trends and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners acting as a trusted advisor and driving mutual profitability and long-term business success.
  • Stay closely connected to local communities, sport culture, and influential market destinations to identify emerging opportunities and insights.
  • Lead the development of differentiated marketplace concepts, elevating consumer experiences and strengthening Nike & Jordan’s brands presence.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Planning, Retail, Operations, and Finance teams to develop and execute integrated growth plans.
  • Influence assortment, product segmentation and go-to-market strategies to ensure relevance and distinction across specialty partners.
  • Identify and onboard new strategic partners that can strengthen channel development and expand Nike & Jordan consumer reach.
  • Drive performance through fact-based decision making, leveraging consumer, marketplace, and financial insights to deliver key business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning while developing team capabilities and leadership.
  • Build and lead strategic partnerships across the NHBD portfolio, working closely with key partners such as Lust, Headquarters, 99Problems, Barrio Warrior, Soul, Metta and other specialty accounts to drive consumer connection, cultural relevance, community engagement, and sustainable business growth
