WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The role of design within the Jordan Brand is a blend of art and science, propelling the creative vision forward while ensuring consumer needs are met. The Senior Manager will report to the Senior Design Director of Jordan Streetwear Apparel. They’ll have one direct report, an Apparel Designer II. Additionally, they will partner cross-functionally with Graphics + Color Design, Product Line Management, Product + Materials Development, and across the Streetwear Design team.

The Senior Manager will utilize their exceptional design, leadership, and creative problem-solving skills to execute the Streetwear Apparel creative vision to the highest standards. They must have a passion for leading a team and creating the future of Jordan Streetwear Apparel.

The ideal teammate is a visionary design leader with exceptional taste, a refined aesthetic perspective, and a deep commitment to craft. They will bring a strong cultural awareness and an understanding of emerging trends and will shape distinctive expressions that raise the bar for creativity, desirability, and aesthetic excellence for the Jordan Women’s consumer.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related design field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in Apparel/Fashion Design.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
  • Strong ability to apply and perform design skills such as: drawing/sketching, ideation, digital product creation and visual presentation development.
  • Expert knowledge of streetwear culture, current trends, and design.
  • Extensive knowledge of pattern making, materials, trims, garment fit, garment construction, and manufacturing.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

If this is you, you will manage the Women’s Streetwear Apparel design team, setting team and individual goals that align with the overarching Streetwear and Jordan Brand creative direction. You'll maintain and continually expand upon an expert knowledge of current trends and consumer-related products.

  • You will lead product design processes to ensure results are met, as well as actively seek opportunities to drive efficiency.
  • You will foster your team’s individual growth by providing inspiration, encouragement, and constructive feedback.
