WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Senior Principal Software Engineer with deep expertise in FP&A, a strong understanding of P&L and financial drivers, and a proven track record delivering enterprise‑scale finance planning solutions using Anaplan. You are a recognized FP&A technical leader and industry expert who can influence Finance and Technology leadership in support of establishing the strategic and technical direction for complex financial planning solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Provide technical leadership for Nike’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) technology landscape
Serve as the technical authority for EPM and Anaplan architecture, design, and implementation in support of FP&A
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of FP&A solutions, from business discovery and design through implementation, optimization, and ongoing evolution
Design and deliver scalable Anaplan solutions supporting driver‑based and P&L‑centric planning, forecasting, and performance management
Define and evolve Anaplan modeling standards, solution architecture, and integration patterns
Partner with Finance stakeholders to translate complex FP&A and P&L requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions
Own and shape platform strategy, long‑term technical direction, and modernization initiatives for Enterprise Performance Management
Ensure alignment with Nike enterprise architecture, data, security, and compliance standards
Partner cross‑functionally with business and technology leaders to deliver integrated, enterprise‑scale solutions
Provide hands‑on technical leadership through design reviews, solution demonstrations, and proofs of concept
Mentor and coach engineers and Anaplan model builders, while raising technical standards and best practices
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to influence roadmaps and capability investments
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
12+ years of professional experience delivering Enterprise Performance Management and FP&A solutions
10+ years of full lifecycle FP&A solution delivery experience (requirements, design, build, integration, deployment, and support)
Extensive hands‑on experience delivering enterprise‑grade finance and planning solutions using Anaplan
Anaplan Master Anaplanner certification (required)
Anaplan Solution Architect certification (required)
Deep expertise in P&L concepts, including revenue, cost structures, margins, and financial drivers
Strong working knowledge of cloud‑based infrastructure, data platforms, and integration patterns, including AWS, Databricks, Airflow, Apache Kafka, Lambda, and SAP S/4
Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and data‑intensive platforms
Demonstrated ability to influence senior technical and business stakeholders
Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences
