The Office of the General Counsel serves to Power & Protect Nike’s People, Product, Property, Operations, and Reputation through proactive, offense-minded solutions to Win Now. We’re looking for world-class talent to join OGC Operations, a diverse, passionate, and purpose-driven team.
We are looking for an ambitious and methodical go-getter to join the team as a Sr. Professional, Core Operations. This individual will play equal parts problem solver and doer, tackling the roles of builder, operator, influencer, and delivery specialist, as they effectively navigate the matrixed structure of Nike. Building key partnerships, being a self-starter, developing a strong point of view, and gaining consensus across team will be key to be successful in the role.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
The Senior Professional, Core Operations is responsible for ensuring the stability, continuity, and effective utilization of business-critical tools that support contract execution and legal workflows across Nike. This role supports the execution of core business operations within the OGC by managing day-to-day operational activities, platform enablement, and process improvements. Partnering closely with the Sr. Manager, this this role focuses on operationalizing defined priorities and ensuring systems are reliable, well‑integrated, and consistently enable business delivery timelines.
- Own day‑to‑day operational support for core OGC platforms, ensuring system stability and business continuity.
- Execute approved deployments, enhancements, and integrations for tools and technology, partnering with Technology, vendors, and business stakeholders to embed solutions into existing workflows.
- Support operational readiness activities, including documentation, training, and change enablement, to drive consistent adoption and reduce business risk.
- Coordinate across cross‑functional teams to support delivery timelines, issue resolution, and platform performance.
- Develop and deliver training and communications that reinforce standard processes and effective technology use.
- Monitor operational health and usage trends across supported platforms, identifying issues and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide regular status updates to leaders, including progress, risks, and dependencies.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
- 3+ years of proven experience in core operations.
- Strong ability to effectively facilitate and manage work across multiple business partners and developing consensus across leaders to influence effective outcomes.
- Highly proficient problem solver.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed work environment.
- Proactive desire to own and facilitate projects forward through measurable progress, planning, and team engagement.
