WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

Nike Energy Marketing builds relationships with culturally influential communities and explores new ideas at the intersection of sport and culture, including fashion, music, art and design.

As part of the EMEA Energy team, this role works closely with the Istanbul Marketing Team to build strong relationships with cultural talent across the city and Türkiye. The role also partners cross-functionally with the Nike Brand and Sports Marketing teams to support athletes and collaborates closely with the EMEA Energy Marketing team at EHQ.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike is looking for an experienced marketing professional with strong connections across Istanbul’s emerging cultural landscape and a passion for sport. The ideal candidate brings original thinking, creates stories that inspire the next generation to move and approaches the role as a testing ground for new ideas. This person can shape new strategic approaches, lead projects from concept to execution and partner with key marketplace collaborators to bring ideas to life.

The ideal candidate is a curious, open-minded collaborator who challenges convention, tests and learns, and identifies opportunities for Nike and sport that others may not yet see. They translate a bold vision into distinctive, relevant work.

Essential requirements:

  • First solid experience in brand and/or brand functional management, with a strong focus on cross-functional marketing.
  • Experience in cultural marketing in Istanbul, with a strong understanding of the city’s forward-thinking consumers and Nike’s position in the market. Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions in this environment.
  • Proven experience identifying, building and managing external relationships with cultural leaders in Istanbul, particularly across fashion, music, art, design or communities aligned with Nike’s strategic priorities.
  • Marketing experience and a demonstrated understanding of consumers in Istanbul and Nike’s position in the market, with a track record of making strategic marketing decisions in this environment.
  • Proficiency in English.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As Senior Professional, Energy Marketing, Istanbul/Türkiye, you will join the Marketing Team and report to the Energy CEMEA Senior Manager and the Marketing Director, Türkiye. You will balance relationship management with marketing execution across key cultural talent relationships in Istanbul and Türkiye.

Specifically, you will:

  • Identify and manage a network of cultural catalysts in Istanbul to advance brand priorities and help shape the future of sport, in alignment with Nike’s global strategy.
  • Manage end-to-end product seeding and service for cultural talent.
  • Deliver exceptional relationship management and brand service for cultural talent partners.
  • Create bold marketing concepts at the intersection of sport and culture that resonate with emerging cultural communities.
  • Lead key Energy and Sportswear campaigns across priority marketplace channels in collaboration with store partners.
  • Brief and manage external agencies.
  • Identify, gather and synthesize insights about forward-thinking consumers in Istanbul. Share actionable feedback with CEMEA teams to strengthen long-term concepts and better serve local creative communities.
