We are seeking a motivated and skilled Back-End Engineer II to join our dynamic team and
contribute to the development of high-quality, user-centric applications. In this role, you will
focus on back-end development, working closely with designers, product managers, and other
developers to deliver technical solutions that drive Nike’s digital products forward. Your role will
also include creating seamless integrations with the WeChat ecosystem.
Scope and Responsibilities

As a Back-End Engineer II, you will:
• Focus on back-end development using technologies like Node.js, Java, and JavaScript
• Work with cloud platforms like AWS or Ali Cloud to integrate back-end services
• Build and maintain scalable and secure APIs to power Nike’s digital products and
integrate with WeChat Open Platform APIs
• Assist in building scalable databases (NoSQL like DynamoDB or relational databases like
MySQL/PostgreSQL) for high-availability and high-performance data
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to support automated service deployments, ensuring
smooth and repeatable releases
• Integrate Nike’s back-end systems with WeChat ecosystem components, including
authentication, payment services, and notifications
• Participate in technical discussions and code reviews, contributing to the decision-
making process within the team
• Contribute to the testing of your components to ensure adequate test coverage and
quality assertions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest back-end development trends and technologies,
advocating for innovation and best practices

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in back-end development
• Strong proficiency in Next.js, Nestjs, or Mybatis in Java, or related back-end
technologies
• Proven experience with WeChat ecosystem integration, such as authentication (WeChat
Login), or notifications (WeChat Official Account/Subscription)
• Experience with cloud technologies like AWS,, or Ali Cloud for back-end services
• Experience with databases (either NoSQL like DynamoDB or relational databases like
MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Experience in writing unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality software
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SDLC, and common development practices
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional
teams
• Commitment to and hands-on experience in performing technical code reviews
• Intermediate proficiency in English, both written and spoken
