Role Overview:
Support leaders with the ability to execute Strategic Initiatives, establish Operational efficiency with specific focus on building operational management and decision recommendations in line with short- and long-term business goals.
Key Accountabilities:
QUARTERLY BUSINESS MANAGEMENT:
- Manage leadership team engagement & collaboration seasonal planning process:
- Manage staff meeting agendas
- Manage agenda and support offsite facilitation
- Support leader in broader team engagement (all-hands, newsletters, comms, etc.)
- Manage Store performance reporting:
- Weekly store reports
- Ad-hoc stores to HQ information / input requests
LONG-TERM STRATEGIC PLANNING:
- Lead the team through CSR & AOP strategic planning.
- NDS CSR/AOP & input into ND CSR/AOP
- Collaboration with ND Ops teams
- Collaboration/alignment externally with stores on shared strategy
- Accelerate & activate the strategy. For example:
- Team operating model/ways of working
- Future product/consumer opportunity evaluation
- Future retail experience opportunity evaluation
- Develop & align strategy-focused top-to-top agendas/content:
- Align topics, presenters, & agendas
- Develop strategy-focused content
- Engage with external counterparts to execute critical follow on workstreams
Cross sales priority champion:
- Lead a Cross ND stores Project/Strategic Priority
- Represent and lead in identified body of work
- Feed into Retail Op Model
- Collaboration as needed
- Alignment on internal and external opportunities
- Strategic Areas of Focus
- Win on the Ground
- Retail management
- Sport offense in Retail
