WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As the Lead Rep for Intersport team in EMEA, you will lead a key SPORT in the business with Intersport IIC, one of the biggest pan-European Sporting Goods account in EMEA. As part of the central team, you will work cross-functionally with the Intersport International Corporation (IIC), Planning, Merchandising, Marketing, and Partner Transformation Functions as well as drive close partnership with our Intersport Teams in EMEA.
You will be reporting to the Nike Intersport IIC Director in EMEA.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit that can conduct challenging conversations and willingness to drive change on a Pan European level. By being part of a wide and diverse team as well as leading the communication for the territory teams, the candidate will be required to collaborate effectively with multiple parties x-functionally (Merch, DSM, Sales, Marketing) and drive clarity and alignment. Sales, Planning, and/or Merchandising experience is a plus since all skills linked to these functions will be leveraged in the role.
The ideal candidate:
Proven efficiency with a strong track record in account management.
Experience and understanding of building assortments during the seasonal planning cycle.
Strong interest in sports retail and its future evolution.
Ability to apply fact-based decision-making using internal tools and insights from the commercial environment.
Passion for sports and interest in emerging digital trends.
Strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional projects, including eliciting information, active listening, open dialogue, and clearly articulating ideas.
Sales, merchandising, and/or planning background is a plus.
Ability and flexibility to travel up to 25% of the time.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will work directly with the central organization of Intersport IIC and lead one or more key SPORT business in EMEA. This includes:
Co-creating and leading one or more SPORT strategy by overseeing the cross-functional collaboration with the Intersport International Corporation Head Quarters, Merchandising, Planning, and Marketing.
Leading & Building seasonal consumer-right assortments, working with representatives of the key markets. Defining allocation criteria per SPORT
Managing the collaboration with Director, Leads and Senior Reps in territories, including support and lead the forecast for our markets.
Represent and lead your Sport during the internal code and pitchback sessions.
Understand, drive and scale Retail Elevation across our markets and find ways to leverage best in class examples across our teams.
At the same time, you will drive the smart verticalization of our Intersport business by defining key projects to improve processes and collaboration.
