This posting is for 2 positions, Merchant II - Soccer and Merchant II - Licensed within the North America Merchandising function.     

The Merchant II – Soccer, North America role will focus on equipment and team apparel.  

 

The Merchant II – Licensed, North America role will focus on field sports, apparel, and footwear. Field sports include softball, baseball, and American football. 

 

WHO YOULL WORK WITH  

You’ll partner with several cross-functional teams. The role will leverage your skills in collaboration through multi-faceted partnerships with multiple functions and within merchandising across the consumer groups. Consumer expertise, and the ability to span across multiple seasons paired with influencing a point of view will be critical for this role.  

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR  

We are looking for curious, energetic, and coachable merchants who have demonstrated an awareness and understanding of the consumer and the dynamics of the marketplace. We are looking for the individual that shows a passion for the sport, to learn, make mistakes & grow; leaning into an entrepreneurial spirit and excitement to take on new concepts and ideas. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.     

  • 2+ years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Marketplace, Buying or a related field  

  • Demonstrated understanding of the consumer and marketplace dynamics  

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience contributing to new concepts, projects, or ideas  

  • Proficiency in analyzing business and consumer trends  

  • Strong attention to detail with efficient ways of working  

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment  

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to cross-functional partners  

  • Team-first mentality with positive energy and a collaborative approach  

 

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON  

As a Merchant II, you will support the strategizing, building, and managing seasonal assortment and product journeys. 

 

A consistent part of your day-to-day responsibilities will be the detailed management, maintenance and communication of all seasonal tools and assortments. Enabling this effort will be the development of key relationships among cross-functional teammates, comfort with research and analysis, along with a genuine curiosity and commitment to learn and evolve.
