WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As the Senior Buyer, Sport for Nike Direct North America (NA) focused on Digital, you’ll drive growth in our Jordan Sport Footwear business. You'll report in to the Nike Direct Director. You’ll partner closely with NA Sport Merch, Planning, Business Integration, Marketing, Site Merchandising, all while ensuring synergy across digital and stores by partnering with our stores merchandising team. This team is dynamic, inclusive, and consumer-focused—committed to collaboration and excellence in assortment building and business driving.

They translate strategy into action, connect insights across teams, and provide clarity and clear communication in fast‑moving moments. They recognize shifts in culture, sport, and fashion before they hit the marketplace—and turn those signals into product opportunities. A natural organizer, this leader inspires teams, builds cross‑functional alignment, and stewards a multi‑season vision that elevates Jordan’s presence in Owned channels.
Key Qualifications:
- Open to work at PHK (Nike World Headquarters) in Portland, Oregon, Metro Area
- 2+ years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Marketplace, Buying, or relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
- Demonstrated understanding of consumer and marketplace dynamics
- Proficiency in analyzing business and consumer trends
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience driving new projects or concepts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to cross-functional partners
- Team-first mentality

You’ll deliver consumer-focused, profitable sport footwear assortments through a strategic and intentional line plan to serve our Jordan Sport consumer while growing the business responsibly to gain market share. Your work will shape the future of sport footwear through strategic planning and operational excellence through our pinnacle destination of our digital platforms.
