COMMERCIAL STRATEGY & LEADERSHIP
As the Senior Principal: North America ACG Sales based in Beaverton, you are responsible for developing, applying & overseeing the commercial business activities for the sales team across the marketplace. You are accountable for executing and analyzing seasonal strategic plans, commercial targets, account relationships, and marketplace distribution. Key responsibilities will be working with senior management to develop, manage, and execute a mutually profitable ACG sales strategy. You will be the voice to drive cross functional alignment in order to deliver on net revenue, inventory, margin, marketshare growth and bookings to target. You will sit on the Leadership Team for the NA ACG GM.
The role will require a flexible problem solver and outstanding communicator who is well organized and comfortable working cross-functionally. This role will report directly to the Sr. Director of North America Running + ACG Sales working closely with field based account teams, Sport and Channel merchandising leads, Planning and Marketing teams.
SEASONAL READINESS & PLANNING
Each season you will be accountable for landing key seasonal concepts and stories that resonate with consumers and partners. You will influence seasonal assortments and delivering account-level allocations that ensure alignment with product strategy, intent, and financial targets. Leading our go-to-market process, key account sell-in, and partner engagements will be critical for success and to create an end in mind vision with our retail partners. You will also work back with the sales agency to ensure they are prepared for seasonal sell-in.
MARKETPLACE MANAGEMENT
Collaborate with account teams, merchandising, and planning to expand existing partner distribution and focus on identifying new opportunities. You will lead our key franchise management, inventory health, and sell-thru results across the marketplace in order to deliver healthy growth and deliver on expectations. In season, you will be responsible for gathering and synthesizing marketplace, product, and competitive insights back to North America and Global Sport teams; ensuring that strategies are informed by real-time data and trends.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a candidate that can enable growth by providing critical visibility and insights to win in the strategic areas of the business.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training
- 8+ years' work experience in applicable field required
- Experience leading sales with external account teams
- Expert understanding of visual retail marketing and in-store environment required
- Experience developing and executing marketplace strategy
- Passion for Outdoor Industry a plus
- Account product distribution strategy experience
- Ability to travel up to 40% may be required
