WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Software Engineer III (Full Stack) to join our Supply Chain & Planning Technology team in Bangalore. In this role, you’ll design and build scalable, cloud‑native solutions that support Demand and Supply Planning, working across frontend, backend, and AWS‑based systems.
Expectation is to have AI Native development mindset in designing Demand and Supply Planning solutions.
You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and global engineering teams to modernize planning platforms that directly impact Nike’s global operations.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Build and enhance full‑stack applications using React.js, Java or Node JS, Spring Boot , Nest JS / PostgreSQL , DynamoDB ,backend APIs, relational databases, and AWS
Design and deliver scalable, reliable services supporting Demand & Supply Planning use cases
Support experimentation and rapid prototyping to evaluate future planning platforms and AI‑driven capabilities
Partner with product and business teams to translate planning needs into technical solutions
Contribute to architecture, code quality, performance, and operational excellence
Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews and design discussions
WHAT YOU BRING
6–9 years of professional software engineering experience
Experienced in AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
Delivery excellence in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline development team environment
Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests. Continuous delivery experience preferred
Working knowledge of Scrum and agile principles
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Comfortable working with globally distributed and diverse teams
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
The following would be nice-to-have:
Experience with monitoring and tracing tools like Splunk, SignalFx, New Relic etc.
Exposure to Supply Chain domain areas like inventory management, order management, logistics management, warehouse management.
Experience working with relational data stores like MySQL, Oracle etc.
Exposure to integrating with enterprise scale packages like SAP S4
Understanding of Data Engineering with exposure to airflow, Databricks/Snowflake and AWS.
