WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role will be part of the Demand and Supply Management team, reporting directly to the Director of Nike Direct Stores Planning for Pacific and will work closely with the Allocations team, Merchandise Financial Planner, Location Planner and In Season Analyst on weekly, monthly and seasonal basis. This role will build strong partnerships with cross functional teams across Marketplace Operations, Stores and Retail Teams and our Distribution Centre to ensure that product flows into store as planned to maintain healthy inventory to deliver our financial goals.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The successful candidate needs to be a strong team player, with an analytical and data driven mindset. The success of our team relies on Allocators who have strong attention to detail and clear communication, who can operate in a fast-paced environment to consistently prioritise workload to achieve set timelines. To be successful, you will need:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with sales, stock & inventory management. Allocation experience preferable.
- Tertiary qualification in Business Management and Administration, Supply Chain, Economics or a related discipline is highly desired.
- Competency in using Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge in Excel. Experience in Just Enough or any other planning software is highly desirable.
- A strong work ethic; and willingness to learn.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and confidence to engage with multiple cross functional teams
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will be an integral part of the team delivering the right product, to the right stores, at the right time. As an Allocator, you will work closely with product and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure our strategic seasonal plans are executed on a weekly basis to serve our consumer.
- Be responsible for executing daily receipt plans in line with the sales and store capacity forecasts and use historical sales data, current trends and insights and future promotional plans to ensure the right product mix is maintained in store.
- Assist in weekly reporting including consumer, gender and category sales and sell thru, and stock to sales analysis to drive allocation direction in line with broader business strategy.
- Support pre-season planning by executing seasonal allocation load ins to launch new seasonal products.
- Support in-season trade risk and opportunity actions in line with your allocation portfolio.
- Assist inventory management across seasonal contracts and aged inventory.
- Assist with building and loading new store assortments and opening inventory plans.
- Be a key stakeholder in developing and elevating allocation processes with a broad team across our local, Geography and Territory teams.
