Responsibilities
- Deliver timely and quality financial forecasting and budgeting in revenue, including financial forecast templates preparation.
- Prepare actual revenue results, business reports and submit to GEO according to requirement.
- Lead monthly shipment alignment meeting and work closely with DSM and Sales teams for month end revenue landing, return and rebate tracking.
- Understanding of accounting principle in return and rebate accrual run rate, quarter end true up or down, and able to apply the same rule in monthly forecast.
- Proactively provide analysis of the current marketplace to understand key trends, risks and opportunities and provide insights and action plans. For example, trade zone analysis for key doors.
- Monitor and support outsource party on performing financial operation duties including wholesales price change, discount change and seasonal pricing check, etc.
- Perform financial assessment of key door opening for wholesales partners, including partner’s EBIT, payback period, etc.
- Prepare annual partner profitability analysis for top wholesales accounts and present to management team.
- Support business partners and leadership team with ad hoc data reporting and analysis needs.
- Collect and compile information from various parties for use in planning future liabilities.
- Ensure understanding of wholesale business process and ERP system application. Closely work with GEO finance team and controlling team for month end closing and report submission.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting or related disciplines
- 5+ years of experience with a multinational Corporation of Retail or FMCG
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with SAP
- Good command of both verbal and written English.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, comfort with Finance and/or accounting principles and good understanding and experience with retail KPI’s
- Ability to think cross functionally, joint data from various sources and develop solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be detail oriented and manage multiple priorities to accomplish assignments simultaneously under tight timelines.
- Thinking beyond the obvious and do not stop at the first answers.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, stakeholders, cross functional business leaders, sales representatives, and peers
- Ability to communicate effectively for the analysis in responsible areas.
