WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

We’re looking for a curious and motivated entry-level Software Engineer to join our Global Technology team at Converse. The Associate Software Engineer is a member of the Converse Technology team reporting to the Product Innovation Engineering Director. You will sit on a team with other engineers, and work alongside program leads and key business stakeholders to deliver technology that will enable Converse to get the right product to the right consumers at the right time. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Planning, and Analytics—to enhance systems that support business planning and supply chain operations.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This role is ideal for an entry-level software engineer who is passionate about building scalable tools and platforms that empower data-driven decision making across Converse’s supply chain. The ideal candidate has a background in retail, supply chain or business planning, and is eager to contribute to innovative digital solutions that power Converse’s global supply chain. This software engineer will collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders from different cultures and geographies to move work forward and align people to a single vision.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training

  • 1+ years of relevant experience

  • Understanding of agile principles and practices and how to apply these to grow high performing teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and interest in the intersection of technology and business strategy.

  • Ability to pick up new programming languages, technologies, and frameworks

  • Previous exposure to business planning processes or technologies within an organization are a plus. (ex. O9, Anaplan, Kinaxis, Logility, Blue Yonder, SAP).

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

In this role, you will help build scalable applications, improve system performance, and deliver exceptional user experiences that support product and planning innovation.

  • Develop, configure, and maintain supply chain applications (ex. o9, SAP, IBP, Blue Yonder) that support business planning and impact global business decisions.

  • Collaborate with product managers, data analyst, and supply chain stakeholders across the globe to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Troubleshoot planning applications and optimize supply chain processes through technology. Coordinate internally and externally with vendors for resolution.

  • Support the integration of data sources and APIs to enable real-time insights into product and planning performance.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices and team workflows.
