Overview of the Job: Optimize consumer demand & supply to serve consumer and drive profitable growth and inventory productivity for NDDC.

Build seasonal product investment plan & strategies for retail concepts that tie to the financial targets & brand vision.  Play a critical role in cross-function conversations to ensure the team adapt to retail speed & support Nike Strategy.

Job Responsibility:

Pre-season:

  • Build strategic framework of seasonal product investment plan;
  • Lead digital buy strategy by reconciling topline financials, brand roadmap, consumer moments, membership plan with bottom up investment
  • Align plan with input and collaboration from key stakeholders including Merchandising and Business Team
  • Partner with Supply Planning team to secure capacity & plan inventory flow

In-season:

  • Weekly analyze and recap marketplace performance 
  • Recommend key actions to cross function partners to optimize business

Post-season:

  • Analyze seasonal topline financials and product performance including sell-through, color performance, and SKU productivity
  • Provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders for future season planning
  • Recap performance of key retail moments to provide insights for future planning

Functional Skill Required (Hard skills):

  • Buying, Planning, Assortment Planning experience with apparel / footwear in Digital preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail math
  • Experience in developing an understanding of consumers, competitors, and retail trends
  • Ability to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office applications; proficiency in Excel
  • Product Knowledge
  • Fluent in Chinese & English
  • Bachelor degree or above
