WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a key member of the Pacific Nike Direct Digital Consumer (NDDC) team, the successful candidate will report directly to the Director of NDDC Planning serving the online business. The Assortment Planning Analyst will collaborate across Planning, Platforms & Growth (P&G), and Operations, working closely with cross-functional partners including Marketplace Supply Chain (MSC) and Enterprise Business Planning (EBP). You will be expected to regularly engage in trade meetings, promotional planning forums, and huddles with the broader planning team.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We seek an analytical, agile, and commercially-minded professional to drive our NDDC strategy—maximizing revenue, margin, and inventory productivity. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and use data to drive decisions.
- 2+ years’ experience in Planning, Merchandising, Retail/Sales, or related fields, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar.
- Deep understanding of retail metrics, planning methodologies, and commercial drivers.
- Proven ability to adapt and make profitable decisions in a dynamic inventory landscape.
- Strong consumer focus and enterprise mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and clarity.
- Intermediate to Advanced ability with MS Office and Planning tools (e.g., Excel, Power Query, Just Enough) is highly desirable.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You’ll manage in-season trade and optimise assortment plans to maximise revenue and inventory productivity. This includes executing markdowns, identifying assortment gaps, managing contracts, and partnering on promotions while supporting future season planning and delivering actionable insights through data-driven analysis.
- Execute and track markdowns using Just Enough, identify products for markdown in line with budget expectations, and provide feedback for early price reductions.
- Identify gaps in product assortment (width/depth) and secure inventory through available channels or trading room.
- Proactively manage NDDC contracts, including cancelling excess inventory using data-driven insights.
- Lead and follow up on actions from trade meetings by identifying drainers and gainers.
- Report on product sell-through rates and performing ad hoc analytics as required.
- Support future season planning, including size curve reviews, order creation, uploading orders, and error management.
- Engage in regular meetings and collaborative forums to align business priorities and share insights.
