WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Flight Scheduler for our expanding corporate flight operation.  This role is responsible for being one of the primary points of contact for scheduling the corporate aircraft.  The Flight Scheduler will proactively build flight schedules for global travel, and handle coordination of logistical details to support the flight and ground schedules.  You will seek understanding, resolve issues, and create flight itineraries that comply with Nike, Inc. policies, Nike Flight Operations Manual, and federal, state, local and foreign regulations.   

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will work with cross-functional teams at Nike Flight, Nike World Headquarters (C-Suite, security, event planning, tax, legal, risk management and sustainability), and vendors supporting our global flight operation.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Your core responsibilities will involve executing all aspects of flight scheduling, from trip requests to post-trip tax reporting.  Key areas of accountability: 

•          Flight Schedule Management 

•          Trip Logistics Coordination

•          Information Validation 

•          Flight Following 

•          Post-Flight Reporting 

You will demonstrate strong situational awareness and knowledge of all aspects of the Nike’s flight operation.  Your attention to detail and troubleshooting nature will enable you to manage unique situations and requests.  You will ensure flight-related information and data are accurate and handled in a timely manner.  Your customer service mindset will be at the forefront of your interactions with team members at Nike Flight, World Headquarters, and outside business associates. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • Minimum of five years of progressive business aviation experience. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • FAA Aircraft Dispatcher License highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage and successfully execute a workload that is often ambiguous and constantly changing. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs and Adobe Acrobat Pro, in addition to flight scheduling software for scheduling and recordkeeping. 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. 
  • Working knowledge of aviation activities and reporting requirements, Federal Aviation Administration regulations, and international flight operations. 
  • Must be willing to work all days of the week, including holidays and weekends per established work guidelines.
