WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

In this role, you will report to the VP/GM of Global Basketball and support the GM of Football, Baseball, American Football & Training (FBAT). You will partner closely across Jordan teams from Sports Marketing, Brand, Product Creation, Planning, Finance, Strategy., Marketplace and Business Integration (Global to Geo)

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Business Director, Jordan sport role is responsible developing Athlete and Teams business plans that align to Global Basketball and FBAT strategies, integrating key Athlete and Teams insights into business planning (Product Creation to Marketplace) and ensuring that Athlete and Teams strategies are executed Global to Geo across key sports moments and engagements.  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, product of related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training

  • A minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience

  • Experienced leader and manager of people, process and projects in Sports, Media or Entertainment

  • Strategic thinking and adaptability and can execute business plans both internally and externally with key Athletes and Partners

  • High integrity and ethical standards.

  • Ability to handle pressure and confidential information.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Partner to operationalize our Sport-Led Offense end to end to drive efficiency, speed and precision in how we dream, build and deliver seasons.

  • Athlete Plan Development & Execution: Develop Athlete and Team business plans that can be executed internally and adopted by external teams, and partners.

  • Signature Athlete Positioning: Ensure consistent and impactful positioning of signature athletes across all functions and touchpoints.

  • End-to-End Athlete and Team Integration: Lead athlete and team integration into the business, ensuring their plans are embedded in Product Creation to Marketplace execution

  • Insights & Innovation: Incorporate athlete and team insights and ideas into sport strategy to enhance relevance and authenticity.

  • Business Reviews: Lead Monthly, Quarterly and Annual signature athlete business reviews to assess performance and strategic alignment.
