WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is a Digital Commerce enthusiast who is passionate about business performance & product planning, understands the Indian digital landscape & consumer needs. He/She has a positive attitude, is hands-on, detail-oriented, consumer centric, data-driven & can work cross-functionally & handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, we are seeking a highly organized individual, having the ability to influence Teams & individuals spanning multiple functions and reporting lines.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

Based in Bangalore & reporting directly to the Director, Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC), India, you’ll collaborate with like-minded professionals across Merchandising, Product Planning, Brand Marketing, Operations & Logistics Teams. You’ll work with stakeholders across Southeast Asia Territory & Asia Pacific and Latin America Geography.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As a pivotal member of NDDC team, the Lead – Business Performance IND.Com & App, you will oversee planning & successful execution of the below key responsibilities areas:

1. Deliver Commercial & Business Performance Goals:

a) Curating Joint Business Plan & ensure its monthly, quarterly and annual achievement, while supporting the business’ long-term financial goals (based on trends, analysis, & consumer insights)

b) In-depth monitoring of key KPIs including demand, conversion, product health, & profitability. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to cross-function Team and Leadership

c) Drive sales performance in alignment with key consumer moments & business requirement to deliver maximum results

2. Drive Seasonal Product Strategy:

a) Share insights & recommendations for future product assortment (buys) & investments in close partnership with Merchandising & Planning team.

b) Co-create seasonal buy plans along with Merchandising & Planning Team and actively support the seasonal ‘Sell-in’ process with the Partner

c) Align seasonal assortment planning with Nike’s brand vision and consumer demand. Partner with Merchandising & Marketing teams to deliver compelling product stories.

3. Cross Functional Team Management:

a) Ideate, project manage & review key initiatives, aimed at driving business growth & operational efficiency across key workstreams

b) Support Marketing, Merchandising, & Planning, Operations & Tech. Teams to drive a shared digital agenda & aligned business outcomes

c) Lead communication to internal Nike stakeholders & Partner on progress, successes and challenges to influence / gain incremental support

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Merchandising, Digital Marketing, or a related field.

  • 7-10 years of relevant Digital Commerce experience, ideally managing rapid-growth, consumer-facing digital businesses, (D2C experience would be preferred)

  • A passion for problem-solving and for creating seamless digital consumer journeys.

  • Proven cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced & evolving work environment.

  • Strong analytical skills, familiarity with inventory management, campaign execution, and digital merchandising best practices

  • Strong presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills to a wide range of audiences including senior level corporate executives

  • Deep knowledge of footwear and apparel business would be a plus
