WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

We’re looking for a Costing Analyst II to be an integral part of the Apparel/Accessories Costing team supporting the Americas region.

As a member of the Apparel and Accessories Costing Team you’ll drive our costing model that is transparent, fair and fully digital across apparel and accessories in service of predictability, scalability and benchmarking of our manufacturing costs. Your work will drive end to end margin goals, create cost mitigation and enable data driven sourcing decisions. You will need to navigate the NIKE matrix to ensure that our regional factories are in alignment with Nike’s standards for costing. This role reports to the Director of Apparel/Accessories Costing for the Americas.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or Manufacturing

  • A minimum of 2-3 years in finance, cost or lean accounting, manufacturing, production, engineering, or footwear product creation.

  • Experience and knowledge in Apparel or Accessories Industrial Engineering, Costing, Product Construction, or production management preferred

  • Previous experience in costing negotiations with senior leadership.

  • Strong analytical ability. Good workflow study and data management skills.

  • A self-starter with ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Willing to learn and with “can-do” attitude.

  • Able to work using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Macro/VBA is a plus.

  • Experience with Alteryx, Databricks, Tableau encouraged

  • Ability to speak Spanish a plus.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As a Costing Analyst, you will work closely with a diverse set of cross functional stakeholders (Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, Partner Management, Product Creation) to drive Nike’s costing vision while optimizing cost across our Americas factory partners. You will be the primary contact with factory costing leadership on changes to key cost drivers. You will closely collaborate with both Nike internal and external stakeholders including factory partners to understand, collect and analyze the cost-related information, and then align standards & best practices.

  • Work with Factory, Developers, Category Team, and Costing Team to interpret Cost Breakdowns and its impact on the total overall product cost.

  • Provides and performs scenario analysis regarding Materials, component, technology, productivity, and foreign exchange changes to help the team achieve target cost per season according to the seasonal critical dates.

  • Review historical information and models to prepare and present information to the costing counterparts to help establish product cost and factory negotiations

  • Drive clarity & understanding around the components of product cost across Nike’s cross-functional stakeholders
