WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a Sr. Facilities Service Technician, you will be responsible for responding to malfunctioning or failing equipment issues to provide basic troubleshooting skills and make needed repairs to resolve problems and return equipment into service. Conducts routine, periodic, preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment to determine if repair or maintenance work is needed to improve asset reliability.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Work assignments may involve the use of Personal Fall Arrest Systems (PFAS) equipment and working from maintenance lifts at various heights for prolonged periods. Works directly with building trades Contractors, and Engineers on building systems, and critical subsystems. Working knowledge of wet and dry chemical-based fire suppressions systems, and fire alarm panel operations.

Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings and specifications. Prioritizes work-orders for the facilities maintenance team. Utilizes strong customer service skills when interacting with other personnel in the DC, uses root-cause problem solving tools to develop corrective action plans. Follows departmental standards and procedures for handling infectious waste, recycling and trash disposal. Participates in safety training, skills training, and facilities improvement follow-up activities. Ensures work is completed using appropriate safety guidelines.

WHAT YOU BRING

      Minimum of 3 years of building trades experience in a distribution center or manufacturing environment.

      • Experience utilizing technical drawings (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) Proficient with cost analysis, labor, and material savings best-practices

      • Experience with the proper utilization of PPE

      • Targeted Certifications may be requires (concentrated skillsets listed below)
