This role reports into Product Management and works closely across cross‑functional triads to deliver seasonal excellence. You will report into the Senior Director, Energy Ignite & Sport – Apparel.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This person thrives in fast‑moving environments and knows how to turn insight into product that resonates. They bring strong communication skills, an instinct for collaboration, and the ability to manage complex calendars without losing sight of what matters: the athlete and the consumer. They pair creativity with analytical rigor, using both intuition and data to shape line plans that push Energy Apparel forward. Above all, they lead with influence, inspire teams, and elevate every stage of the creation process.
You are recognized as a trusted voice in product creation—someone leaders look to for perspective, clarity, and decision-making in moments of complexity. You’ve led product lines that matter, influenced senior stakeholders, and know how to balance culture, consumer, and commerce.
What You Bring:
- 8+ years of experience in apparel product management or line planning roles, with demonstrated ownership of complex product lines, cross‑functional leadership, and strategic decision‑making.
- 3-5 years of Sport Promo experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Merchandising, Business Administration or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- Expertise in apparel product construction, sourcing, and product creation processes.
- Proficiency with visual tools (PowerPoint, Keynote, Miro), Excel, Retail Math, and AirTable.
- Ability to lead, influence, and build strong cross‑functional partnerships.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will own the strategic direction and seasonal execution of Energy Apparel—one of Nike’s most culturally relevant product expressions. You’ll set the vision, make key product decisions, and lead cross‑functional partners to deliver premium, consumer‑obsessed product at scale.
You’ll translate deep consumer, sport, and cultural insights into multi‑season line strategies, shaping how Energy Apparel shows up across Nike Branded, License, and Promo Sport ecosystems. Operating at both strategic and tactical levels, you’ll balance creativity, commercial rigor, and operational realities to move the business forward.
Your Responsibilities:
- Own the Energy Apparel product line strategy, setting vision and long‑range direction across seasons and franchises.
- Lead cross‑functional triads across Design, Development, Brand, and Merchandising—driving alignment, trade‑offs, and accountability.
- Translate consumer, athlete, and cultural insights into clear product briefs that define line architecture and storytelling.
- Ability to clearly and confidently present concepts, insights, and outcomes to senior leadership and external partners.
- Serve as the primary decision‑maker for line architecture, balancing consumer demand, brand expression, margin, and scale.
- Lead end‑to‑end product creation from strategy through approvals and sample management, ensuring clarity across timelines and milestones.
- Represent and champion Energy Apparel at senior levels, ensuring product decisions deliver premium consumer and cultural impact.
